An Original 1 of 1 Cyanotype Photogram. Initially Hand drawn & using different textures and colours to produce an image inspired by the desire to swim with these curious and fascinating water creatures.

The 'Free-spirited Swimmers' Series are all Cyanotype Photograms. Using different textures, coloured filters and hand drawn images I create a handmade, actual size negative or contact sheet, which is then used to produce the cyanotype image. This means each image can be reprinted. BUT whilst some may look similar the variable nature of cyanotype means that no two can ever be exactly the same, making each one totally unique and an original.
